WARNING: MAJOR "Azran Legacy" SPOILERS!!
Never fall for your Muse.
You assume, but never presume,
that They are yours to choose.
By meeting your Muse, you create a ruse,
a trick that never ceases to amuse,
wooing nobody but only your Muse.
I say to you:
It is a terrible thing for you to lose to.
So, never fall for your Muse.
REBLOG on TUMBLR!
Ayeeeee, this is truly my last drawing I quickly pulled together for the end of the year. 2014 was quite a year; can't say it's all negative (like this drawing is), but it definitely proved to be a inner struggle for me: Hence, Desmond Sycamore struggles to cling onto hope as Jean Descole takes him to the depths of his despair.
To make this drawing really personal: I seriously feel like this. For the longest time, I felt so depressed, dragging myself and swallowing a lot of useless worry and stress. It's been affect my health does acne count, but it has also affected my decisions about my career pathway, a much of adult shit really. I even deny myself of various changes to fall in love, and believe me I had many changes that passed my face. I seriously connect with Desmond Sycamore / Jean Descole, because 1) I cosplay as BOTH characters, 2) I run a cosplay ask blog on tumblr as Jean Descole, so I always act like him, (it's quite fun LOL!) 3) I feel like the embodiment of despair right now, and 4) I find IRL parallels in my life from their backgrounds, it's quite uncanny.
But, I say to myself, Never Fall For Your Muse. It's not healthy for you. And that is the theme of this drawing.
