As with the motherly counterpart I made earlier, I spent way too much time pondering over this fatherly concept! I was a bit baffled about Leon Bronev’s character design (no kidding, hot foxy grandpa!!) I hope my art style justified him! Also, I made interesting quotes to make up for the presence of these interesting characters and their character development! Overall, there wasn’t much between these guys, not as symbolic yet not so subtle either on how they feel about each other.

Bullet; Green Hidden Interpretations: Bullet; Green

Bullet; Green Leon Bronev, how young he looks! His outfit (as well as her children's outfits)  is loosely based on a still-frame cutscene, so it symbolizes his presence in the Bronev brothers' childhood. I chose this particular outfit because he looks more refined, honest and academic towards his children (although I second-guessed how his front looks)....Here, Bronev is enthusiastic and interactive in explaining his archeological findings and a few of his puzzles! He is the inspiration that his sons aspire to be, like a role model father he should be! Bronev's arm warmly stretches, taking his sons under his wing as he points out an element of surprise in his puzzles! Anyways...

Bullet; Green Desmond Sycamore (Hershel Bronev) takes on an enthusiastic stride with a curious expression as he listens to his father's anecdote. Hershel is closest to Bronev, so he is bound to aspire to be more like him than his younger brother. However, because he's stuck between Bronev and his brother, Hershel is stuck between childhood and adulthood. He is naturally shy as a youth, but is curiously drawn to the world of puzzles. It's unclear how he moves forward into his youth, but we'll see....if you cross-reference with Rachel Bronev....

Bullet; Green Hershel Layton (Theodore Bronev) strikes a curious frown as he strays from the puzzling commotion between his older brother and his father. He is furthest from Bronev, noting that his father's hand hovers just above Theodore's head as if it were a foreshadowing menace. That's not to say that Theodore isn't interested at all, but he is curious for sure! Only the future can tell about his endeavors...

Bullet; Green Composition - Bronev is the center-right focus of the scene, while Desmond and Layton follow left from him. In symbolism, the left-hand side represents the past, and the right-hand side represents the present/future.  Hershel (Desmond) appears to be the pinnacle in the Bronev family: Squared center between Bronev and his brother Theodore (Layton), Desmond is the point where the present-tense is set in their past. There's not much going on, but it's the building of excitement that counts! (Rachel Bronev does a better job encouraging the kids!)
