10 years later...

Half-Mast

On special days, one must set the flag at dawn to dusk, accordingly to this respectful procedure.
First, set the flag all the way to the top of the pole and....
pause, for a moment.
Then set the flag to the middle of the pole, or half-mast.
Such a ceremonial procedure is to symbolize that something is "missing" on that day.

9/11 is a day that we lost, or miss, many of the lives taken from the catastrophe that happened 10 years ago.

We must remember them always in our hearts.

I present you my humble yet special tribute to 9/11, or so to say, 9/1/11.
A very special day to remember such a historical impact that happened in America. Like most Americans, I myself have been emotionally impacted, and every time 9/11 comes by, I get nostalgic...a hint a sorrow, always.

Thank you for viewing my humble tribute.
I wish to represent it simply, humbly and artistically.
